How To: Winged Liner

Winged liner is probably one of the hardest makeup aspects to grasp. I know a lot of people struggle with it and some days even I do, so I thought I would give all of you a step by step run down on how to achieve a winged liner. For me, one eye usually turns out perfect and the other eye I have to re-do like 70 times #thestruggle lol. The steps to achieve a winged liner is very easy, but it's difficult to get it precisely how you want it sometimes. I personally find it easier to do winged liner with a liquid liner with a felt tip, but some people may find it easier to do it with gel liner. But you just have to do a little trial and error until you get it down pact. If you don't find this helpful and need to actually see this done in order to understand, there are tons of YouTube videos :)

Let's begin !

1. Start with a clean eye or begin after you've put your eye shadow on

2. Draw a line from the corner of your eye outward, on a slant. Don't draw the line straight up. Some people make this step easier by putting tape where they want to draw the line and use it as a stencil.

3. Connect the tail of the line you just drew to your eye (as shown in the picture)

4. Fill in the space with your liner

5. Draw a thin line from the inner corner of your eye to connect to the wing

6. Enjoy your winged liner :)

*Note: I do not own this image*
I hope this was helpful! If you have anything else to add to this that makes winged liner easier for you, please leave me a comment, I would love to know!

I'm going to be doing a make-up tutorial this week for the make-up I have on in my previous video for my Product Review. Please stay tuned and be on the look out for when the video is posted and in the meantime, go check out my other videos on YouTube! I'm excited to share it with you :) I also received a request to do a tutorial on how to french braid, so that's in the works as well!
