Bath and Body Works Candle Haul

Now, I'm not one to skip over Thanksgiving and jump right into Christmas. My tree isn't up yet because I want to enjoy Thanksgiving too! But when Bath and Body Works comes out with their holiday candle sale and they're $12.50 instead of $22.50, I jump on it! I really stocked up this year so I figured I would share my haul with you. I'm not sure if the sale is still on or if it's already over, but no worries if it is over because I'm sure it will come again closer to Christmas time.

From that picture as you can see, there's a lotttt, so let's get started :)

The first one is Sweater Weather which is one of my favssss which I why I got 2. They're in different packaging because one was from the fall and the second one is for winter. They're still the same scent though !

Next is Frosted Cranberry which is another fav hence why I got 2 3-wick and one baby candle. I love fruity, berry scents so this one is perfect.

Next is Winter which is another goodie. I can't describe this scent. It's like a cool, fresh scent that just reminds me of... well, winter!

Next up is Tis The Season, which is another one that's hard to describe but reminds me of Christmas. And look how cute the packaging details are on this one! So festive :)

Next we have Spiced Apple Toddy which I actually have the one I bought from last year burning right now and omg does this smell good. It reminds me of Apple pie. Love this one!

The next one I purchased is Fresh Sparkling Snow. I purchased all 6 scents that I've mentioned so far last year so I knew I'd love these again for this year. This one smells exactly like you'd think it would smell like. The name says it all.

Next is Vanilla Snowflake which reminds me of snow and baking cookies. Omg sooo good

This one, Winter Candy Apple, I think has become my new favorite. I tie this one in with Frosted Cranberry and Spiced Apple Toddy. They all remind me of one another.
Maple Cinnamon Pancakes - Oh. My. God. Everytime I light this I know I'm going to want to cook breakfast. This just smells like heaven !
This one is Spiced Gingerbread, I don't really know how so feel about this one. They had one I think it was called Frosted Gingerbread or something which I LOVED but this one I'm not too crazy about.
I think this is a new one they came out with this year. I could be wrong but I really love this one too. This is another hard one to describe.

I purchased the lotion in the A Thousand Wishes scent and loved it so I figured I'd try the candle in hopes that I'd love it just as much!
Similar situation with the Black Cherry Merlot as the A Thousand Wishes scent except I got this in a hand soap scent not knowing they had a candle and this is my favorite hand soap scent so I HAD to get it in a candle!
I've heard a lot of youtubers rave about this scent so I figured I'd pick it up to see what the hype was all about and I'm so glad I did. This was on sale since they were getting rid of fall scents and bringing in winter ones but I am definitely buying more of these next year because I love it!
This scent in Hello Beautiful I'm going to save for spring time because that's what it reminds me of. It's like a mix between fresh and floral.

Did any of you pick up candles from the sale ? Even if you didn't, what are your favorite scents ?

Thanks for reading :)

Mini Holiday Haul

Holiday shopping already? YES girl, because I've learned my lesson. If I don't pick up the limited edition sets when they come out and wait til November/December, they'll be GONE. And I'm not trying to pay double the price on eBay, ya feel me?! So I've been snatching up the holiday sets that I've had my eyes on and I am sooo thankful I was able to be dear lawwwdd these sets are beautyyyyyful. Here's what I've hauled so far because TRUST ME, it's only September and there is way more to come! :)

Tarte Bling It On Blush Palette
This retails for $44 at Sephora and is worth every stinkin' penny! The Tarte blush formula is just amazing. They come out with a blush palette every year and since last year, I made it a tradition to pick it up each year.

Carli Bybel x BH Cosmetics Palette
This was a limited edition palette that comes with 10 eyeshadows and 4 highlighters. It retails for $12.50! An amazing steal! It is sold out at the moment but rumor has it, Carli wants to bring it back because she wants everyone that wants one to get one. How sweet?!
Laura G Nail Polish Set
@laurag_123 on Instagram came out with her own line of nail polishes. This set retails for $48. She also has 2 separate sets that has just 4 polishes that I believe is only $24 which is amazing considering these actually cost $14 a piece! So I had to get them mainly because of the nude and the mauve color but ugh they're all stunning. She is also coming out with a matte top coat that I can't wait to get my hands on.
Becca Glow On The Go Set and Becca AfterGlow PaletteI purchased both of these off of the Ulta website. The Glow On The Go Set retails for just $20! So for those of you that have been dying to try the most loved highlighter out there, Opal, now is your chance without spending the big bucks for the full size. The AfterGlow palette retails for $39.50 which is not bad for all the shades you get. You get 5 shades: 3 highlighters and 2 blushes (Moonstone, Rose Gold, Topaz, Wild Honey, and Flowerchild). And the packaging is just stunnninnngg!

Too Faced Melted Kisses & Sweet Cheeks and La Crème Lipstick SetI always love love loveeeee Too Faced packaging, especially for the holidays because they always do it big. But I had to pick up the Melted Kisses & Sweet Cheeks because I really wanted to try their blushes. This retails for $36 and both the melted lipsticks and blushes are travel size. The blushes are suuuper mini but they're adorable. This set includes melted lipstick in Fig, Peony, and Nude and blushes in Your Love is King, Justify My Love, and Love Hangover. The La Crème lipstick set retails for $29 which is a steal because one of their lipsticks costs $21 and you're getting 3 FULL SIZE lipsticks plus an adorable bag. The shades include Nude Beach, Taffy, and limited to this set WHAM!.

Another super cute thing about the Melted Kisses and Sweet Cheeks set is that you can potentially break them into 3 sets and give them as gifts to one of your makeup loving friends. But as the packaging says, "None for you, ALL for ME!" Haha.

And last but not least, this baby just released on Ulta's website for Platinum members and I definitely had to scoop this up before it was gone. I purchased the Lorac Mega Pro palette from last year and it is my FAVORITE palette ever. I have the Lorac Pro 1, Lorac Pro 2, the Mega Pro and now I'm adding this one to my collection.

Lorac You Rock: Review

Lorac Royal Lip Lustre Crème Sets

This was from Lorac's holiday collection. They had 3 different sets with mostly all different shades. They had a few repeats (like Tiara) but otherwise, there were specific, "exclusive", shades for each set. So of course, me being the princess that I am - I had to collect them all. Lol.

First, let me just say that as much as I wanted these for how cute the names were, I was a little skeptical because I kept hearing that they had a sticky consistency to them which is obviously no good. Also, I'm not much of a lip gloss girl, but more into lipsticks. Thankfully that awful rumor turned out to be false. I tried them on for myself and they weren't sticky! Score 1- Lorac, 0- Critics.

Like I mentioned above, I'm obsessed with how cute and clever the names of the lip glosses are. Super fitting to me if I do say so myself *insert crown emoji*

I think it was a good marketing tactic on their end to spread them out into specific locations. I believe one was only available at HSN, the other at Ulta, and the other on Lorac's website. So in order to get all 3, you had to purchase one from each place - ultimately giving Lorac business as well as Ulta and HSN.

I hold Lorac to some pretty high standards and I must say, for lip gloss - I'm impressed. These sets get a thumbs up from me!

These next 3 reviews are all on Lorac eye shadows. The first is their Lorac Pro 2 palette. This was the first Lorac product I purchased and I am so happy I did. I heard so many reviews about their first Pro palette and the second one lives up to the hype. The pigmentation is insane, the shadows are buttery, and I got it at a steal for just $20 on HSN.com! I also think they have a great range of color as well. I've been wanting the 1st Pro palette and their Unzipped palette so hopefully in the near future I'll be scooping those up as well.

I hear tons of people raving about the Urban Decay Naked palettes, and I personally have all three, and none of them come close to the Lorac palettes. If someone asks me UD Naked palette or Lorac Pro palette I would say Lorac hands down!

L to R: Buff, Lt. Brown, Cool Grey, Nectar, Plum, Navy, Charcoal, Black, Snow, and Beige
L to R: Rose, Mocha, Chrome, Silver, Jade, and Cocoa

Next is Lorac's Royal Eye Shadow Set. Honestly, the shadows in this collection didn't even really catch my eye, it was the packaging and the name. Princess, Queen, etc...it just fits me - so I needed it lol. But after swatching them, I'm actually pleasantly surprised and glad I picked this beauty up. This was also part of their holiday collection. I just wish the shadows had names added to them.

Last is the most talked about Lorac Mega Pro palette. People have been dying for this palette since it released. Of course they made it limited edition - UGH I hate when they do that to most wanted products. Anywho, I legit stalked their website the day it was being released and as any other makeup fiend, I refreshed the page a million times until it let me purchase it! Thankfully I was lucky enough to get my hands on it. For those of you that weren't able to, I'm hoping they bring it back so you can get it!

Now, before this came out I heard a lot of talk; the colors weren't appealing to many people, the pigmentation wasn't good, blah blah..blah blah blah.

But here's my take on it: it's extremely pigmented, the colors are amazing (my favorite is Mulberry), and for the price of $59 for 32 shades - you can't beat it. I also love that there are both matte and shimmer shadows in this palette as most of Lorac's palettes do. Ultimately - this is a YES in my book.

L to R: Cream, Fawn, Camel, Sepia, Dusty Plum, Orchid, Mulberry, Espresso, White, Khaki

L to R: Brown, Stone, Lilac, Wisteria, Gray, Black, Sand, Copper, Sienna, Apricot, Blush

L to R: Merlot, Indigo, Vanilla, Cashmere, Smokey Topaz, Dusty Rose, Granite, Maroon, Deep Teal, and Caviar

I hope you enjoyed!

I'm interested to know your thoughts on these - leave a comment :)

Monday Madness!

So I have a few great things to share with all of you and I am excited to tell you! There are some new products coming out that I am just anxiously waiting for. So here it goes! (Note: these are not my pictures)

This baby came out I believe in September for a SHORT amount of time at Sephora and it was EXCLUSIVE to the VIB Rouge members (which at the time I was not). Were you someone that was upset you couldn't get your hands on this beautiful palette? I know I was! Personally, I wasn't interested in the Vice 3, but then I saw THIS beauty and I had to have it...but I couldn't since it was exclusive to VIB Rouge members. BLAH, thanks Sephora *dead face*. BUT, Urban Decay is now bringing this beauty back! When you ask? NOVEMBER 20TH! Mark your calendars because I'm quite sure it will sell out quickly. I introduce to you....the VICE LTD. Gorgeous, isn't she? Price runs about $58 I believe.

Next is something that is possibly a controversial topic still with the scandal and all, BUT the products I've seen are incredible regardless of what goes on behind the scenes. Lime Crime has been known for some shady business and some racist comments which happened quite some time ago. I'm hoping Doe Deere (creator of Lime Crime) is past all of that now. I'm sure some of you noticed Lime Crime was available on Sephora's website for a short amount of time, but they ended up taking it down for reasons I assume are because people were upset Sephora would collab with a company with the reputation that they have. ANYWHO, like I said, aside from that, they have some great products. I personally have not purchased from them yet, but I do intend to in the near future. Hate me for it or not, but it's a personal choice. Do I support the creator of Lime Crime and her decisions? Absolutely not, but I do like what she makes. So, without further ado, Lime Crime will be releasing a new velvetine called CASHMERE, so chic right?! And it is described as a "greige" color. To die for!

There has also been some rumors flying around for Spring 2015, get excited! TrendMood posted on their Instagram that Tarte has come out with a new Matte palette and it is available RIGHT. FRIKIN. NOW. Only for a limited time so run, run, run! Once it's gone it will come back in 2015 so no need to panic if you don't get your paws on it. But this palette is very neutral and it costs $44 USD which isn't too bad.

The last thing I have to share with you is by far the most exciting for me. I have a new found obsession with high end products (although I'm not a snob about it, I still shop drugstore, too). I have been dying to get my hands on Tom Ford ANYTHING but it's just extra expensive. Like $50 for a lipstick? Whaaaaaat? Then they came out with a lipstick vault with like 10 lipsticks and 10 nail polishes so I figured it'd be at a discounted price, buuuut turns out it was like $600. HA. In what world would you expect someone to pay that? Insanity. Anywho, what Tom Ford has come out with are mini lipsticks that are still expensive ($32 USD each) but you would normally pay that for a full size lipstick for YSL or NARS, etc. I think I could see myself splurging on the minis rather than paying $50 for one. But the colors Tom Ford has are to die for and there are 50 shades to choose from! Say what?! This I believe will be available on November 28th on Tom Fords website. This news I've also received from TrendMoods Instagram.
