Kenra Haircare Review

Kenra haircare, which can be found at Ulta/Ulta's website or Kenra's website, was extremely generous and sent 8 full sized products for me to try out and review. It took me a little longer than I expected to try out all of these products, because to be completely honest, I don't do my hair every day lol. But these products blew me out of the water. I'll get into specifics in a bit, but just know these are well worth it and all of them smell AMAZING. If I had to try to describe the scent, I would have to say it's like a fresh smell with a hint of a floral smell. Before I give my review, I just want to let you know my hair type is pretty fine and thin just so you have an idea of what types of hair these products would be good for.

Kenra Blow Dry Spray $13
Kenra Thickening Spray $22
Kenra Shine Spray $17
Kenra Thickening Mousse $22
Kenra Volume Mousse $16
Kenra Root Lifting Spray $16
Kenra Volume Spray $17
Kenra Design Spray $17

Kenra Blow Dry Spray: This product is from their Platinum line and I've heard soo many good reviews on this from YouTubers. But I don't tend to blow dry my hair too often, but when I tried this, my hair came out like I've never seen before. My hair was shinier and smoother, no frizz. This is their travel size which is 1.7 oz, but you don't need to spray a lot of product.

Kenra Shine Spray: I love that this is in an aerosol can instead of being a spritz because it's much easier for your hair to look greasy with a spritz bottle; whereas this just lightly mists your hair leaving it shiny and not greasy.

Kenra Thickening Mousse: This is another one of their products from their Platinum line and one that is specific to my hair type. Because I have fine/thin hair, the thickening aspect is very appealing to me. I don't typically use mousse on a daily basis, but instead of using heat on my hair, I tried this out by putting it in my hair and just leaving my hair natural for a day. I really noticed not just added thickness to my hair, but volume as well. This is perfect for people with my hair type.

Kenra Volume Mousse: As I've mentioned above, I don't use mousse too often, but this is very light compared to a lot of other mousse I've tried and it doesn't leave my hair feeling hard and crunchy like some other mousse does. I did also notice more volume in my hair. It looked fuller, but didn't feel thicker like the Thickening Mousse made my hair feel.

Kenra Thickening Spray: This is part of their Platinum line and oh. my. goodness can we just talk about how amazing this product is? Like I mentioned above, I have thin/fine hair so I was super excited to try this out. When I used this I just sprayed it onto my hair, combed it, and let it dry. It worked so darn well even  my boyfriend noticed! He was playing with my hair (which I love) and he said, "Wow, you're hair is starting to get thicker" and then I let him in on my little secret. So this baby is a hidden gem that I will cherish!

Kenra Root Lifting Spray: This product doesn't leave a white residue in your hair and it really gives your roots some volume. I would suggest this product for those of you that have fine or thin hair like myself.

Kenra Design Spray: This has become my holy grail. It is a hairspray, but it doesn't leave a sticky or crunchy feeling to the hair. If you have your hair curled, it's still very bouncy but it still keeps the hair in place. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a good hairspray.

Kenra Super Hold Finishing Spray: This one is the only product I was a little disappointed with. This is a hairspray but it's a little sticky and leaves your hair kind of hard. I wouldn't re-purchase this one, but the Design Spray I would definitely re-purchase.

7 out of the 8 products they sent me were incredible and 1 of them was unfortunately a flop for me. Overall, I would give this company an A+ rating because not only are their products great, but their customer service was as well. So a huge thank you to Kenra for your awesome products and customer service!

ULTAmate Goodies: Mini Haul

I love coming home to packages and I came home to my Ulta package yesterday!

I bought the Miss Manga mascara because I've been hearing so many good things about it.

I also bought the L'Oreal Total Repair Damage Erasing Balm because I've heard wonderful things about that product as well. I tried that last night and left it in for the directed 5 minutes, once I rinsed it out I already noticed a difference in my hair. My hair is so soft now and it smells good too. I definitely recommend it for anyone with dry or damaged hair.

The orange bottle is a keratin spray from Sally Hershberger that was referred to me that I have yet to try. It claims to help with dry hair, though.

Lastly are the three face masks by Freeman. I love their face masks. The first one I ever tried was the charcoal & black sugar and it worked great for my skin, but I wanted to try a peeling mask, so I bought the cucumber and the pomegranate peel-offs.
If you have sensitive skin, I wouldn't suggest the charcoal mask because it is a bit rough on the skin. I tried the cucumber mask last night and it smells just like cucumber and has a very thick consistency. After putting it on my face and letting it sit for about 8 minutes (the directed time is 5-10 minutes), I peeled it off and my skin felt so soft and smooth! I would definitely buy this product again especially for $3.99! I was buying individual face masks at $1.99 each for a one time use, for $2.00 more I would rather pick this gem up for multiple uses!

Thank you beauties for viewing. I've got more coming your way, so stay tuned!
