Happy Valentine's Day!

First, can we just talk about how perfect the combo of the makeup and sweets is? That's my kind of Valentine!

I just wanted to say Happy Valentine's Day to all of my beautiful followers. Thank you all for supporting me and keeping up with me on all my social media and for showing me so much love. I hope all of you have an incredible day whether you have a significant other or not! Yes, today is pretty much a made up holiday for couples to take the time to appreciate one another, which should really be done on a daily basis. BUT today can also be a day to take the time to appreciate YOU and love and pamper yourself. So enjoy it!

Skincare Routine

It is no secret that when it comes to makeup your skin is the probably the most important part of the make up application process. Your skin is the canvas that the makeup gets applied to so if the canvas isn't smooth the makeup won't go on smoothly. I never really understood this until about a year or two ago and lately I've been extremely into skin care. I've struggled with acne for a while now and a lot of it has to do with me picking at my face which is, I know, a really bad habit. But my goal for this year was to stop picking out my face and to get my skin clear. In order to do that these are the products that I have been using. They are all travel sizes however I will be purchasing full-sizes of all these products. If you follow me on Instagram you would know that I have already purchased the full size of the Peter Thomas Roth peeling gel. But these products have made my skin so soft and hydrated! I'm always looking for new products to try so leave a comment if you have any suggestions!

1. Origins Ginzing Eye Cream - Having and I cream is so important because the skin underneath your eye is so delicate that you want to make sure that you're keeping it hydrated.
2. Fresh Black Tea Toner - Some people are a fan of toners however I'd like them I feel like they do actually makes my skin feel a little bit more clean and refreshing.
3. Peter Thomas Roth Peeling Gel - It's important to have an exfoliator because you're getting off all of the dead skin cells that may be causing dry patches or unevenness in your skin and this one you can literally see the dead skin getting wiped away and it's very gentle.
4. Josie Maran Argan Milk - The combination of this and the Argan oil really hydrate my skin I always thought that I had combination skin and recently I've discovered that I have dry skin. I think that may be a reason I break out so much because my skin is so dry it's overproducing oils and in turn, causing acne

Amazing Cosmetics Anti-Aging Primer Review

I was one of those girls that neverrrrr used a primer until I realized how important they really are! Now I can't go without using one before applying my foundation (except those days where I think I already applied my primer so I start applying my founation and realize I didn't actually put a primer on. Anyone else with me on that? Lol). But I've tried out quite a few primers but I've never had a primer that made my skin feel so smooth before. This primer made my makeup apply so seemlessly; it felt like after I applied the primer, everything else was just gliding on. Lately I've been having an issue with dry patches and this primer seriously hydrated my skin to the point where dry patches were no longer an issue. Because of that it's become my new every day primer. It's a little on the pricier side at $34; however, it is a full 1 oz so it will last you awhile because you don't need more than like a pea size to cover your face. Another great thing about this primer is that it is an anti-agingprimer  so those of you that are or are starting to become more conscious of your skin and anti-aging, this is perfect. It's infused with vitamins and made without any harmful chemicals like sulfates and parabens so that's always a plus. I don't really have any fine lines or wrinkles (I'm only 23, let's hope those don't come for a lonnngggg time) but it does claim to fill in fine lines and wrinkles so it would also be good for mature skin.

As you can see in the swatch, it looks like a droplet of water. It's very thin and lightweight. The texture of it is very hard to describe. It's not a silicone, it's a not lotion, I don't really know how to describe it but whatever it is, they got it right!
