Bath and Body Works Candle Haul

Now, I'm not one to skip over Thanksgiving and jump right into Christmas. My tree isn't up yet because I want to enjoy Thanksgiving too! But when Bath and Body Works comes out with their holiday candle sale and they're $12.50 instead of $22.50, I jump on it! I really stocked up this year so I figured I would share my haul with you. I'm not sure if the sale is still on or if it's already over, but no worries if it is over because I'm sure it will come again closer to Christmas time.

From that picture as you can see, there's a lotttt, so let's get started :)

The first one is Sweater Weather which is one of my favssss which I why I got 2. They're in different packaging because one was from the fall and the second one is for winter. They're still the same scent though !

Next is Frosted Cranberry which is another fav hence why I got 2 3-wick and one baby candle. I love fruity, berry scents so this one is perfect.

Next is Winter which is another goodie. I can't describe this scent. It's like a cool, fresh scent that just reminds me of... well, winter!

Next up is Tis The Season, which is another one that's hard to describe but reminds me of Christmas. And look how cute the packaging details are on this one! So festive :)

Next we have Spiced Apple Toddy which I actually have the one I bought from last year burning right now and omg does this smell good. It reminds me of Apple pie. Love this one!

The next one I purchased is Fresh Sparkling Snow. I purchased all 6 scents that I've mentioned so far last year so I knew I'd love these again for this year. This one smells exactly like you'd think it would smell like. The name says it all.

Next is Vanilla Snowflake which reminds me of snow and baking cookies. Omg sooo good

This one, Winter Candy Apple, I think has become my new favorite. I tie this one in with Frosted Cranberry and Spiced Apple Toddy. They all remind me of one another.
Maple Cinnamon Pancakes - Oh. My. God. Everytime I light this I know I'm going to want to cook breakfast. This just smells like heaven !
This one is Spiced Gingerbread, I don't really know how so feel about this one. They had one I think it was called Frosted Gingerbread or something which I LOVED but this one I'm not too crazy about.
I think this is a new one they came out with this year. I could be wrong but I really love this one too. This is another hard one to describe.

I purchased the lotion in the A Thousand Wishes scent and loved it so I figured I'd try the candle in hopes that I'd love it just as much!
Similar situation with the Black Cherry Merlot as the A Thousand Wishes scent except I got this in a hand soap scent not knowing they had a candle and this is my favorite hand soap scent so I HAD to get it in a candle!
I've heard a lot of youtubers rave about this scent so I figured I'd pick it up to see what the hype was all about and I'm so glad I did. This was on sale since they were getting rid of fall scents and bringing in winter ones but I am definitely buying more of these next year because I love it!
This scent in Hello Beautiful I'm going to save for spring time because that's what it reminds me of. It's like a mix between fresh and floral.

Did any of you pick up candles from the sale ? Even if you didn't, what are your favorite scents ?

Thanks for reading :)

Sephora VIB Rouge 20% Off: My Picks!

Hey dolls, it's that time again! Sephora is having their 20% off for their VIB Rouge today, November 4th through November 7th and after that VIB members will have their chance to make their purchases with the discount for a period of time and then Beauty Insiders I believe get 15% off from then until the sale ends. I'm not 100% sure on the rest of the dates but when I get that information I'll update! Below are the coupon codes:

20ROUGE
20VIB

I figured I would share my picks with you since I'm always curious to see what everyone else gets during the sale! I typically go for all the sets because they're always a good value and you get more bang for your buck. Some of these products are unfortunately sold out already so I'll mark the ones that are sold out for you. Feel free to leave in the comments what you got!

Sephora Favorites Beauty's Most Coveted (Sold Out) $75
Includes: Laura Mercier translucent setting powder, NARS radiant creamy concealer in custard, Kat Von D tattoo liner in trooper, Urban Decay lipstick in 714, CoverFx highlighter in bubble, Tarte rainforest spray, Estee edit, Benefit ka-brow in the shade 3, Becca highlighter in Moonstone, Glamglow supermud, and a Foreo play

I thought this was such a good steal with all the most raved about products. I think there were some products I could've don't without and thought other super hyped products should've been in here but the value is what got me. $75 and the value was like $210.

T

Becca highlighter in Rose Quartz (Sold Out) $38

Those of you that know me know that I'm a highlighter junkie. I liveeeeee for a good glow (and good packaging too). This had both of my obsessions in one. The packaging is adorable and the pink highlighter is right up my alley.

Huda Beauty Lip Contour Sets: $24

I personally got 2 sets because they have the rosy shades and one with the nude shades. This is the perfect price point for gifting for a friend. This could also be a really great stocking stuffer. You get 3 products basically for the price of one. I also absolutely love this formula of liquid lipsticks!

Hourglass Surreal Light Palette: $80

Ok I'm not going to lie, the packaging sold me on this one. I mean, marble and gold? How much more sophisticated can Hourglass get ?! I always adore their packaging. But the product inside is also good! You get 2 blushes, 2 bronzes and a highlight which is perfect for on the go.

Stila Naturally Nude Lipstick Set (Sold Out) $20 & Stay All Day Sparkle All Night $39

I passed up on one of their liquid lipstick sets last year so I told myself I wouldn't do it again, plus these nude shades were calling my name. Again, another perfect stocking stuffer!

Sephora Favorites Glow For It $30

Includes: Benefit Watts Up, LancĂ´me, Hourglass in Incandescent, Becca liquid highlighter in Moonstone, and Milk

Again, me being a highlight junkie I couldn't pass this up.

Marc Jacobs Up All Night Lipstick Set $49 & The Nudeist Show Lip & Liner $28

The Up All Night set is such a good gift for someone because it comes with a cute clutch that the person can either store makeup in or use as an actual clutch. I got this because every year I collect the mini Marc Jacobs lipsticks. Hopefully one day I'll have all the shades in the mini form! I rarely ever go through a full lip product so minis are perfect for me.

And then the nudeist set comes with 2 nudes and a lip liner which is a great gift for someone who stays away from the bold lips and always gravitates towards the nudes (aka me lol).

Tarte Neck Treatment: $44

This one isn't limited edition or part of a holiday collection like the other products, but I've had my eye on this for awhile and I know I'm still super young but I want to prevent aging so I'd rather start now than later! Let me know what you think of this product if you've tried it!

NARS Velvet Lip Glide in Stripped: $26

I've seen this talked about so much in the last week or two I had to get my hands on it. It looks like such a pretty color. There's so another color I'd like to get my hands on but I wanted to test out the formula first.

Let me know what you decided to pick up from the sale!

Empties Pt II: Bath & Body

Hi darlings, as promised here is my bath & body empties! I'm sure there were way more than this I just probably forgot and ended up throwing them out.
Pictured above: 3 different scents of Bath & Body Works shower gels, 2 Soap & Glory Righteous Body Butter, 2 scents of LaVanila deodorant, Tree Hut Sugar Scrub, and Bath & Body Works hand sanitizer
Bath & Body Works shower gels: These are my favorite shower gels cause they smell so good and they usually have awesome sales that I typically stock up on. For those of you that have followed me for awhile know my signature scent is Sweet Pea. I absolutely loveeee that scent but I do also enjoy trying new ones too. I really like the Endless Summer scent, especially for vacations! I am in the market to try a different brand of shower gel though so let me know if you have a favorite that you'd always repurchase!
Soap & Glory Righteous Body Butter: I tried this on a whim because I've seen really good reviews on this and I picked it up before going on vacation and let me just say this was a God send! I got really bad sunburn while on vaca and this was the only thing that helped it and actually moisturized my skin. I went through this travel size in like 4 days so I picked up a second one. I haven't picked up a full size yet but would I? Yes!
LaVanila Deodorant: This is a healthy version of deodorant that you can get from Sephora.com. Basically this deodorant doesn't contain any harsh chemicals, like aluminum. I personally love this brand. I did notice it doesn't last as long as I'd like it to but I keep a travel size in my purse for that reason. But I like knowing it's better for me than the other deodorants on the market so I prefer this brand.
Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub: This specific scent smells like a vacation, literally. Like you smell it and it instantly takes you to an island. I already repurchased one of these but this time I got the one in a mango scent. It exfoliates and makes my skin feeling so smooth and it's inexpensive. Win, win and win!
Bath & Body Works hand sanitizer: I've probably gone through like 4 of these since I started collecting my empties. I always have one of these hanging off of my purse. I'll always repurchase these cause I love the Bath & Body Works scents.

Stay tuned, next up is my skin care empties! :)

Empties: Makeup Edition

I've been hoarding empty products for quite some time now between makeup, hair care, skin care and bath & body. Sometimes I threw empty products away without thinking so trust me this isn't all of
it lol. But for those of you that don't know what an "empties" post is, basically it's a post about all the products you've used up completely that are well, empty, and if you'd repurchase them. So I'm going to talk to you about these makeup products below in depth and give mini reviews and let you know if I would repurchase them! Stay tuned because I have 3 more empties posts coming your way in the other categories !
Pictured above: Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer, Too Faced Born This Way Foundation, Makeup Forever HD Foundation, Stila One Step Correct Primer, 2 Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Pencils, Hard Candy Glamoflauge Concealer, Urban Decay Primer Potion Eye Primer, and 3 L'Oreal Lumi Cushion Foundations
Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer: I've gone through like 6 bottles of these already. This is my holy grail primer. I have yet to find a primer to live up to this one. It just smooths out my skin and makes it feel like silk and makes my foundation just glide on. Another thing this primer is good for is making your makeup last long. I will forever repurchase this product.
Too Faced Born This Way Foundation: I really loved the fact this foundation is full coverage and it has a beautiful satin/dewy finish. The only downfall is they have very yellow undertoned shades. I haven't tried the 2 lightest shades that came out after they launched the foundation but after seeing swatches they, too, look to be very yellow based unfortunately. I think I'll give the lighter shades a go again in the near future because I really loved this formula.
Makeup Forever HD Foundation: I tried this foundation after MUFE reformulated it and everyone used to rave about the old formula but they weren't entirely impressed with this one and I don't blame them. It was light-medium coverage and I'm a full coverage kind of gal so I'll have to pass on repurchasin this. The only thing I absolutely loved about this foundation is the shade. It's literally my perfect shade. If I could get this shade in every brand's formula I would in a heartbeat!
Stila One Step Correct Primer: I really liked this primer as you can tell there's not even a drop left! I just felt like it evened my skin tone and corrected the slight redness I have. I didn't really notice it making a difference in the longevity of my makeup but I used this in conjunction with my hourglass primer and it made a difference.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz: Another one of my holy grail products. I will forever and a day repurchase this. Forever and ever amen! I've tried other brow pencils similar to this but the formulas just don't compare. This is the OG, numero uno.
Hard Candy Glamoflauge: If you're looking for a heavy duty concealer, this is for you. I used this to cover up redness and you only need the smallest amount because it's so full coverage so this lasted me quite awhile. I would repurchase this.
Urban Decay Primer Potion Eye Primer: Honestly I've had this for so long I think it's in my empties because it's just old and was time to toss it. I've only used it a few times and wasn't super impressed by it so I'll pass on repurchasing. It didn't really make a significant different in my eyeshadow application or the longevity.
L'Oreal Lumi Cushion Foundation: Can you tell whether I'd repurchase this or not? Lol. This is my favorite drugstore foundation thus far. The finish is dewy but not that greasy dewy, it's medium to buildable coverage

I'll be posting my bath & body empties next so stay tuned ;)

Need Crystals Review

As many of you know, skincare is super important to stay looking youthful and also to have a nice base for makeup application. Exfoliating is an important step in the skincare routine, but how many of you have heard of microdermabrasion? Basically it's a slightly harsher way of exfoliating, or polishing, the skin. It basically rejuvenates the skin by removing the outer layer of your skin, getting rid of dead skin cells. This skin care technique is used to treat acne scars, discoloration, sun spots and stretch marks. I'm not a dermatologist by any means so if you have questions regarding this I would definitely recommend you to ask your dermatologist, but I personally would not use this more than once a week maybe even once every two weeks depending on how sensitive your skin is. You can find these crystals at www.needcrystals.com and an 8 oz details for just $12.99! You only need a dime size amount each time you use it so an 8 oz will definitely last you a long time. The price is well justified for the amount you receive.

As you can see from the picture above, the Need Crystals are so fine they're a lot smaller than a grain of salt which makes them very gentle on the skin. Products like St. Ive's apricot scrub are actually really bad for your skin because of how harsh and large the exfoliants are. They can literally make tiny tears in your skin. Whereas this product is so fine that it makes it super gentle which is actually my favorite part about these crystals.
To use this, all you have to do is take a dime size amount and mix it with your normal cleanser and gently make circular motions like you would normally cleanse your face and then rinse with warm water. It's a really simple process. After using the crystals I noticed a difference in my skin texture immediately. My skin was softer and I could tell my dry patches were gone. I haven't used it enough to tell if it helps with acne scars but I'm hoping it does because I would love to get rid of mine!

Lorac Mega Pro 3 Palette Review & Comparison

For those of you that haven't heard of the brand Lorac, run out and grab one of their Pro palettes, even if it isn't this one. Honestly their eye shadows are always my go to. I truly don't reach for ANY of my other eyeshadow palettes except for these because they're that good. They're pigmented, buttery and super blendable. By far my favorite formula, I don't think any other brand holds a candle to their pro eye shadows. So what is the Mega Pro palette you ask? Lorac comes out with these Mega Pro palettes during the holidays each year that are twice the size of their original Pro palettes with 32 shadows rather than 16. Their original Pro palettes have 2 rows of 8 shadows and as pictured below, the Mega Pro has 4 rows of 8 shadows. The top two rows are matte shadows and the bottom two rows are shimmery. It retails for $59 which if you divide that by the 32 shadows that are in the palette, that makes each individual shadow only $1.85 a piece which is such a steal! The regular Pro palettes are $44 so for $15 more you get an extra 16 shadows!
I personally love the shade selection they choose because they tend to put a lot of wearable colors as well as neutrals and I'm a neutral kind of gal so they're right up my alley.
Below is the Mega Pro collection. The first one is the burgundy and gold packaging, the second one is the cobalt and silver, and the third is the white and rose gold. I personally love the packaging on these, the only down side is the material of them, which is like a rubbery feeling that's really hard to describe, gets dirty pretty quickly, but otherwise they're stunning.
Below is a picture of all 3 palettes and you can see they're pretty similar but me being a makeup collector and how much I love their shadows, I can never pass up these limited edition palettes. I personally thing they're worth every penny and I definitely get my use out of them.
