Sephora VIB Sale Haul

I didn't go crazy on this sale because I
already purchased quite a bit from the Employee Friends & Family sale but I did get a few things I have been eyeing for awhile.

Mini NARS concealer in Vanilla and a 100 point perk for Makeup Forever HD Powder

Marc Jacobs The Sofia set. I am so so so glad I was able to get my hands on this because it was sold out for a bit and I'm so glad they brought it back for the sale because lawdddd these are GORGEOUS and the formula is amazing. Great way to try these lipsticks at a discounted price because lets be honest, when do I even go through a full size lip products? Never!  But I am literally dying over So Sofia and Infamous.

Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Lip. Im not sure that I'm completely sold on this set just yet. If you have it, what do you think of it? It comes with 6 mini lip products and although Lolita is always so raved about, dare I say, I'm really hating this shade. It's said to be a "dusty rose" but it looks straight up brown when I swatch it. And if you know me, I hate brown on my lips because it just doesnt look good with my skintone.

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Pink. It definitely wouldnt be a haul of mine if it didnt have a highlighter so heres this beauty! Its limited edition so if its sold out on sephora already check Nordstrom or Bloomingdales.

Makeup Forever HD Foundation in 115. This is another product Im not entirely sold on. If you have it what are your thoughts? I might be exchanging this for another foundation. I love full coverage foundations and this one seems to be a medium coverage to me. I thought everyone was raving about this product so I snagged it but Im still not sure.

Kat Von D Shade and Light Contour Kit. This is the big mama ! Ive been waiting to get my hands on this since it came out. I was going to wait til she came out with the refillable pans but I decided I couldnt wait any longer and dear goodness shes gorgeous! Ill definitely be getting use out of this.

For those of you that have followed me for awhile you know all of this haulage will be going away until Christmas. I have a rule with myself that whatever makeup I buy for the holidays goes away until Christmas. I take pictures of them and swatch them for you and then I put them away sadly. Lol but it makes it more exciting for me on Christmas day! Well I hope you enjoyed this little haul.

What did YOU get for the VIB sale?!

NUDE, Mally Beauty and Pür Review

I've tried lots of products but there are still many brands out there that I have yet to try that I'm anxious to try. These three brands: pür, NUDE, and Mally Beauty are all three brands that I am trying for the first time, finally and I am so excited to share my reviews with you!

Pür Epic Illusion Blush and Contour Palette
This beauty is a hidden gem. I'm sure we makeup junkies are all aware that there are a million contour palletes on the market right now. This one includes 2 blushes which is perfect for on the go. Just grab your foundation and this baby and you're set! I must say I absolutely love the shades in this palette. The only shade I can't use is Fiction because of how deep it is, it's just too dark for my fair skintone. But that's great because that means deeper skin tones can use this palette as well. This has quickly replaced my other contour kit as I have been using this non stop. Mauvelous is the perfect fall time blush and Legendary is a beaauuuutiful subtle highlight. I give this one a thumbs up!

Pür Lip Lure in Graceful
When I first got this, I really wasn't too pleased with the applicator. It made me feel like I was back in middle school with the twist up glosses. Definitely not a fan. However, the formula of this product is INCREDIBLE. I expected the same formula as those annoyingly sticky lip glosses I used back then but to my pleasant surprinse this is probably the best lip formula I have ever used. Hands down. It is said this is a "rich and creamy liquid lipstick" and a "hydrating lip lacquer". Hydrating? Check! Rich and creamy? Check! Pigmented? Check, check! I have seriously been missing out because this formula is amazing. Now when it says liquid lipstick, it is more long lasting than most lacquers, but it's no Kat Von D liquid lipstick and it's not intended to be. But seriously, it's an incredible formula. I was impressed. My lips never felt so hydrated and when I rubbed them together it felt like butter on my lips (minus the greasiness). This shade in particular sort of reminds me of Lolita as it has a brown undertone with hints of rosy tones as well. Ugh gorgeousness in a package.

NUDE Progenius Omega Treatment Rescue Oil
Personally I have combination skin which means in some places it's oily and others it's dry. I'm always hesistant to use oils on my face in fear of becoming too oily and breaking out, but I've learned over the years that oils can be good for your face. This product claims to refine and smooth texture, moisturize and clarify. Truthfully, I think this product did all 3. I have some texture to my skin because of my acne and it definitely reduced that, I also feel my skin is now more hydrated and I dont notice any breakouts. This little guy saved my skin! The bottle is a beautiful frosted glass and I also love the little dropper it has on it. It makes it feel so luxurious.

NUDE Miracle Exfoliating Mask
This is a clear gel-like mask that feels like it has small sugar-like crystals within it which are actually rice beads. It's very gentle on the skin so people who have sensitive skin like myself can use it. This in conjunction with the oil is like a match made in the skincare heavens. I use this twice a week and then the oil daily. This helps to get rid of any dead skin cells on my face which in turn gets rid of the dullness and unevenness.

Mally Beauty Voluminizing Mascara in Black
I've heard of Mally Beauty everywhere lately so trying this mascara was exciting for me because I had really high hopes for her beauty line. Luckily I wasn't disappointed! I actually LOVE this mascara. First of all, I'm glad it doesn't have a silicone brush because I really can't stand those mascara applicators lol. The brush itself is so thick and the mascara really accentuates your lashes but lengthening and making them fuller. You really can't ask for a better mascara, honestly.

Luxie Beauty Makeup Brush Review

Stop. It. Right. Now. These brushes are to die for. Why did I wait so long to try these?! Luxie Brushes are prrrobbbabbllyyyy, okay no, they ARE my favorite brushes from this point forward. For one, they are pink and rose gold. Seriously, what girl wouldn't love that? And two, they work like a dream and they're super soft. I honestly want to replace all of my brushes now with Luxie Brushes and just have my entire brush holder filled with these. I've watched so many big YouTubers, like BeautyByRosita, rave about these brushes and now I see the hype.

I have a coupon code for the Luxie Beauty website 20% off: BEAUTYBLOG

I personally have the Rose Gold Synthetic 5 Piece Detail Makeup Brush Set which includes:

Luxie Rose Gold Flat Angled Blender Makeup Brush 150
Luxie Rose Gold Detail Tapered Blender Makeup Brush 140
Luxie Rose Gold Detailed Angled Makeup Brush 130
Luxie Rose Gold Detail Round Blender Makeup Brush 120
Luxie Rose Gold Detail Flat Blender 110

The use for this set is to apply concealer and blend out powder or cream products when contouring. My favorite use for the 120 brush is blending out my under eye concealer. I'm usually a hardcore Beauty Blender junkie, but these brushes have since replaced my Beauty Blender. Sorry, not sorry! I can't wait to try other products from Luxie because I doubt I'll be disappointed. These brushes are giving me life! Like I mentioned before, the bristles are really soft and I haven't noticed any shedding what-so-ever. I definitely see these being my ride or dies.

Best Eyeliners

Don't hate me for the awful image quality, I have no clue what's going on. Before I transfer them they look perfect and then when I transfer them they look really blurry so I apologize! Anyways! I am very excited to be doing this post because I loveee eyeliner. My favorite makeup product would definitely be foundation, but I love a good winged liner. The first eyeliner I ever attempted winged liner with was the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner (middle) and it was the easiest way for me to learn. I actually got it on my first try! Shocking, right? I'm going to explain to you why I chose these three eyeliners specifically to be considered the "best" eyeliners out there. If you have any you think are the best and want me to try let me know, I'm always up for trying new products! Just an excuse for me to go makeup shopping :)
1. Marc Jacobs Highliner in Blaquer: I use this eyeliner to tightline my lower lash line because it's the first eyeliner that actually stays in place. It is VERY pigmented and I don't notice it transferring to my under eye concealer throughout the day. It's the only eyeliner I'll use for my lower lash line
2. Stila Stay All Day Liquid Eyeliner in Black: Some people have an easier time doing winged liner with gel, I personally have an easier time doing my winged liner with a felt tip liquid liner like this one. It's very pigmented and easy to work with. I will continue to repurchase this always. It's also a Sephora favorite, so hellllooo, definitely worth it. This one literally stays on ALL day just like the name says. I once fell asleep with my makeup on (I know, I know, it's awful for my skin but it doesn't happen often) and when I woke up the next morning it literally looked like I just applied my eyeliner.
3. Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper: Before I tried this I thought I couldn't live without my Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner. Once I tried this, I realized I had a tie betweek the two. I switch back and forth between the two all the time but I might love this one a little bit more. The felt tip the Stila one has is very easy to work with; however, the unique brush tip this eyeliner has makes it even easier to get a precise line.

MDSolarSciences Review

I've been wanting to really start posting more products for all of you as I know there are a ton of you that are concerned about keeping your skin looking youthful. A good way to do that is to include an SPF in your daily routine because it will protect your skin from the sun's UV rays. I have two products that I'm excited to share with you that are great to implement in your every day routine that have multiple benefits for your skin! You can find these products at Sephora.

The first one is the MDSolarSciences Daily Anti-Aging Moisturizer (right). This contains SPF 30 which will definitely protect your skin from the sun and on top of that it's anti-aging PLUS it's a moisturizer. That's a 3 in one deal! It is white when it comes out of the bottle, but is translucent when blended and the consistency of this is very smooth. I really love the packaging on this because it reminds me of the Kat Von D Lock It Tattoo Foundation bottle with the way the pump is set up. These products are a little pricey, but investing in skincare is the best thing you can do to keep your skin looking flawless with and without makeup. I personally never knew how important moisturizers and SPF's were until this year, but it's better to be late than never, right?! Haha.

The second product I have to share is MDSolarSciences MD Creme Mineral Beauty Balm (left and my shade is light/medium). This is a wonderful BB Cream that has an SPF of 50! Yes, 50! That's amazing. For me, the best thing about this product is that it is non-comedogenic, which means it won't clog your pores. I am very acne prone and this makes it so much easier to have some coverage on my face without feeling like having makeup on is going to break me out. This has a very similar consistency to the moisturizer except a little bit thicker, but still blends just as easily. My only complaint about this product, if you can call it a complaint, is that I wish they had a wider shade selection. Everything else about it is A1!

Anyone else think these two products are BOMB? Have you tried any other products from this brand? What are your thoughts?!

Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer Review

I definitely found my new holy grail concealer. This concealer is completely full coverage and the tiniest bit goes a LONG way. I'm talking you only need a DOT to cover your entire face. It covered any blemishes or redness that I had and it made my skin look flawless. It has a slightly thicker consistency than other concealers I've tried. I usually really like the more liquidy concealers because they blend easily but regardless of the thicker consistency this concealer has, it's still VERY easy to blend. I would recommend this to anyone, but especially those with dark circles, discoloration, blemishes or redness because it covers everything so well! I think the shade selection for fair skin tones it awesome since I'm personally fair it really means a lot when a company has shades that suit my skin tone; however, the only thing I think could be improved is the shade selection for deeper skin tones as there aren't many options. Otherwise, A+ in my book.

When I was blending this out I actually had to remove some of it because it was too much. That's definitely a good problem to have because like I mentioned earlier, a little goes a long way which means this concealer is going to last awhile!
