Skin Deep: Skincare Products Review

I wasn't really that into skin care up until this year. I guess since I'm getting older I'm starting to realize that taking care of your skin is important. I never really invested in anything for my skin other than a daily face wash. Now I'm skin care crazy! Here are some of my recent skin care products.

Peter Thomas Roth - Skinstant Mask
I had never heard of this brand until I started using Makeup Social. A girl had posted a picture of these before they re-released the set and I looked everywhere and couldn't find it! Thankfully, Sephora brought the set back for the holidays and hopefully to stay! This set is 3 face masks that are all 1.7 oz (a full size is 5 oz) There is a cucumber, a rose stem, and a pumpkin. Out of the three, the pumpkin is my absolute favorite! It exfoliates and leaves you skin feeling so soft plus it smells AMAZING to the point where you almost want to eat it - but don't. This set costs $45 which isn't bad especially if you just want to try them. Just for one full size mask is $45 for the cucumber and rose stem. The pumpkin one I believe is $58. I'm almost positive they have a smaller set that is like 0.5 oz and it comes with all three but it is only $20. So if you can't see yourself spending the $45, go for the $20 one; either way, I highly recommend this set!

GlamGlow Gift Sexy
Okay, who here has not heard of GlamGlow yet? Let me put you on to an amazing skin care line! I got the GlamGlow Gift Sexy set for Christmas which included the two in the picture (black - youthmud, blue - thirstymud) and also the white one called supermud but I used that one already. The price might shock you, but just for ONE 1.7 oz jar, it is $69. YIKES! I heard so much hype over these things that I had to try them myself, but $69 for ONE?! Thankfully, I didn't have to pay full price for just one. They came out with this gift set (1 full size 1.7 oz and 2 mini 0.5 oz) so I think that made it well worth it. Needless to say, my favorite is the white jar. It cleans out my pores so well and leaves my skin feeling renewed. I also like the black one and how tingly it makes my skin feel. I haven't had a chance to try the blue one just yet. I know the price is pretty outrageous, but to give you a little bit of background; this line was created for the movie stars (hence the star symbol and the Hollywood written across). But it was meant to help treat breakouts immediately for the movie stars. I think this is more of a luxury item than anything but I would say it's something to try at least once! I really like the product so I think I'll continue purchasing the white one. They also have a green one called powermud that I'm anxious to try and a new every day cleanser that I cant't wait to try as well.
Peter Thomas Roth 24K Gold Set
Here is another Peter Thomas Roth product. This was a set that cost $85 - excuse me? Did you just say $85? Yes...Eeek. The price is ridiculous, but the mask ALONE costs $85. With this set, you get 5 other PTR items that probably would have ran your bill up to about $200. I personally have not tried any of these products yet, but it includes the 24k Gold Mask, Un-wrinkle Turbo, FirmX Peeling Mask, Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel, Instant FirmX Eye, and Camu Camu Powder. I'm anxious to try them all!

 Boscia Little Black Book
This is also a first time brand purchase. This is the first thing I own from Boscia. I thought the name was adorable "Little Black Book". I can't exactly remember how much this was, but I don't believe it was too expensive. It comes with 4 different products: Detoxifying Black Cleanser, Luminizing Black Mask, Revitalizing Black Hydration Gel, and No Pores No Shine T-Zone Treatment. I've only tried the cleanser so far and I already love it. I think it is going to become my new daily cleanser of 2015.
